TERMS
Terms of use
Effective and last updated: 9 September 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of FanPass. By downloading or using FanPass, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms.
2. Personal journal licence
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use FanPass for lawful, non-commercial personal record keeping. You must not reverse engineer the app where prohibited, interfere with its operation, use it to violate another person's rights, or present FanPass as an official competition or club service.
3. Your entries and photos
You retain ownership of information and photos you add. You are responsible for their accuracy and for having permission to store or use them. Do not add unlawful, infringing, abusive or privacy-invasive material. FanPass does not claim a licence to your private journal except the limited on-device processing needed to provide the app.
4. Local storage and backups
The current version stores your journal locally and does not provide a FanPass cloud account or recovery service. You are responsible for device backups. Clearing the app, uninstalling it, losing the device or a storage failure may permanently remove your journal and photos.
5. Independent and unofficial
FanPass is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the National Rugby League, any rugby league competition, club, broadcaster, venue or statistics provider. User-entered names, scores and venue details are not an official fixture or results service, and we do not guarantee their accuracy or availability.
6. Availability and changes
We may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue features. We aim to keep FanPass useful and reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Updates may be required for continued use.
7. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FanPass is supplied without additional warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss of locally stored journal data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws. Courts with jurisdiction there may hear disputes. Questions can be sent to vib3holic@gmail.com.
