PRIVACY
Privacy policy
Effective and last updated: 15 September 2026
1. Who we are
FanPass is an independent, local-first mobile application operated by 34wizrd in Australia. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to vib3holic@gmail.com.
2. Information stored on your device
FanPass lets you enter a display name, favourite team, starting season, games, scores, venues, companion names, notes and selected photos. You may also choose a CSV file to import game history. This journal is stored in FanPass's private storage on your device. FanPass does not currently provide accounts, a public profile, or a developer-operated cloud service that receives this journal.
Your operating-system backup settings may separately include app data in an Apple or Google device backup. Those services are controlled by their providers and your device settings.
3. Crash diagnostics
FanPass does not include a third-party crash-reporting or analytics service. Apple or Google may separately handle diagnostics through their operating systems, app stores or testing services, subject to their own policies and your sharing settings. If you choose to send us a bug report or TestFlight feedback, we use it to investigate the issue.
4. Photos, files and permissions
FanPass asks the operating system for access only when you choose a related feature. The photo picker lets you select images for a memory, and the document picker lets you select a CSV file to import. FanPass processes only the content you select and does not scan the rest of your photo library or files. Selected photo copies are saved in the app's private storage. The rest of your journal remains usable without photos.
5. Catalogue downloads
The app may download a rugby league catalogue over HTTPS. That request does not include your FanPass profile, journal, notes, photos, or imported history. Like most internet requests, the catalogue provider may receive technical request information such as an IP address and device network details.
6. Website, TestFlight and support
The FanPass website does not use advertising cookies or behavioural analytics. Basic request information may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver and secure the site. The TestFlight request form prepares an email in your own email app; nothing is sent to FanPass until you choose to send it.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to manage testing, answer feedback, or resolve your request. Correspondence is deleted when no longer needed, ordinarily within 12 months.
7. Use and sharing
Your mobile journal is used on your device to provide your history, memories, grounds and personal statistics. FanPass does not sell personal information or share the contents of your local journal with advertisers or data brokers. Our hosting, email, app-distribution and device-platform providers process limited information only as needed to provide their services and under their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Your choices and deletion
You can remove individual game memories in the app. To erase the complete local journal, open Profile and choose Clear this device. Uninstalling FanPass also removes its local app container, subject to any separate operating-system backup.
To ask about information you sent us, request access or deletion, or make a complaint, use our support page. We will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Security and overseas processing
We minimise off-device information, use HTTPS for configured downloads, and use access-controlled service accounts. Website and email providers may process request metadata or correspondence outside Australia. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps proportionate to the information handled.
10. Children and changes
FanPass is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
